When we star a new website then we have to create its sitemap. sitemap contains the whole website pages,category URL when we submit a sitemap to Google the we manually submit our website pages to Google . so whenever someone search in Google related keywords about or website then Google will return
our website name as search result so if you want good searching your website in search engines like Google then you have to submit your sitemap To Google Webmaster Tools.All you need to is A Gmail ID because you need to login in Google webmaster tools and you can only login with your Gmail ID.Site map is very useful in Seo(Search Engine Optimization).
Here is the steps to Submit site map to Google Webmaster Tools -
Step-1.Login Google Webmaster Tools .
Step-2.Verify your website ownership.(You can see a Red button on the left side) if you have a blogspot blog then you don't have to verify your Blog.
Step-3.After verifying your website just click on your website name which is showing on your Google webmaster tools screen.
Step-4.Now you can see your website Dashboard.
Step-5.Click on Optimization Button which is on the left side of your Screen.
Step-6.Now click on Sitemaps.
Step-7.Now you can see A red button on your screen "ADD/TEST SITEMAP".
Step-8.click on it and submit your sitemap.
Here you go your sitemap is successfully submitted To Google Friends.
